The dormitory, classroom and kitchen buildings were completed in 2011/2012. They are the result of major fundraising and we are very proud of this accomplishment and would like to thank all those who made this possible by donating funds or purchasing merchandise/raffle tickets.
Prior to this building the monks were sleeping in very sub standard conditions, some on the dirt floor in very cold temperatures. These buildings have made a major difference to the lives of those who live at the Tayang Monastery.
