Komtrim is the overall carer of the young monks and the nuns. He is our link to them and communicates regularly with Rabgyi, so our news is up to date. He distributes the sponsorship money as food, clothing and a little pocket money for the young ones. The nuns receive their sponsorship directly as cash and can then purchase what they need. When the older monks move to college to complete their education, Komtrim sends their money to them so they are still supported with education fees, and clothing. He has written this letter to all sponsors and friends of Tayang.
Dear Sponsors, friends and guardians,
Your kindness is like lotus petals, so smooth and soft, and contains so many kinds of nectars that any sentient beings who taste this nectar will be liberated.
Today I am representing the monastery and monks by writing this letter to you. Thank you very much: You have built us a classroom, a dormitory, a dining room, a kitchen a bathroom and provided us a basketball hoop. All projects are now completed. You also provide food and clothing for the children from your kindness. All monks, teachers and senior monks put our hands together over our hearts to thank you.
In return, we only have the capacity to pray to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha for your every success in life.
