In 2009 Robyn visited Tayang. She had been sponsoring little Kur Kur Ri Pa for 3 years, but this was their first meeting. When we first met this small monk in 2006, he was the youngest monk in the Monastery, very small only around 3 years old. Drolma Tso was his carer, she looked after him and kept him warm in the very harsh winters. When Robyn met this lovely Nun they quickly formed an attachment. At this time we had not begun to sponsor Nuns but Robyn wanted to assist Drolma Tso, she became our first sponsored Nun at Tayang. Since that time, we now have many Nuns who have sponsors. Drolma Tso still cares for Kur Kur Ri Pa and Robyn continues to sponsor both, they write to each other, exchange small gifts and have formed a strong bond. Robyn recently sent a small photo album to both Dromla Tso and Kur Kur Ri Pa, this included many photos of her lovely garden in Narooma. Now, when she walks in her garden, Robyn can feel the presence of both her special friends.
